Gerdau AmeriSteel produces long steel and special sections with a network of ten mills. It also operates in the flat steel sector through the Gallatin mill, a joint venture in the state of Kentucky (USA).

  It also has 15 rebar fabricating facilities and 13 units for the collection and processing of scrap. Concerning downstream operations, Gerdau owns nine industrial units and has stakes in two additional companies.
