In December, the Gerdau Group signed a technical cooperation agreement with Daido Steel, the Japanese world leader in specialty steel technology, for the development of specialty steel products for Japanese carmakers with factories in Brazil. The two companies have carried out technological exchanges for improving processes since 1995.

This partnership is one of a range of projects being developed by the Gerdau Group with Japanese carmakers in Brazil, expanding its operations and reinforcing its leadership in this market.
