challenges and possible solutions regarding people for the coming years. The first
edition of the Annual Human Resources Forum brought managers from all of the Company’s
Business Operations to Porto Alegre in order to continue the global standardization of people
management policies and guidelines.
The meeting discussed the team’s adjustment to the strategic demands of the business,
the promotion of internal best practices, the validation of people management policies
and guidelines and the required profile for HR professionals in the Gerdau Group. All these
activities have the same aim: to add value to the business, by means of teams and leaders
with a commitment to superior performance. The second edition of the Forum took place in
March 2006, with the participation of 80 people. |
