In Brazil, Banco Gerdau (Gerdau Bank) works in synergy with the business environments. In the 10 years since it was launched, the bank has already provided some R$ 3.4 billion in loans. In 2005, it served 940 customers and the value of financing offered reached R$ 663 million. The asset portfolio grew to R$ 119 million.
